These terms govern your use of ChairScanner. By creating a profile or using the app you agree to them. ChairScanner connects workers in the hair, beauty and tattoo trades with shops and salons that are hiring.
ChairScanner is a matching platform. Workers can build a profile with a portfolio, work history and preferences; employers can list their shop and the roles they hire for. Either side can send a request; once accepted, both sides can message each other in the app. ChairScanner is not an employer, agency or guarantor — any working arrangement is made directly between the worker and the shop.
You must be legally allowed to work in the location you are seeking work in.
The information you add — qualifications, work history, portfolio photos — must be accurate and must be your own work. Do not upload photos of other people's work or of anyone without their consent.
You are responsible for keeping your login details private.
When a worker names a past employer, that employer is asked to confirm the relationship happened. Until confirmed, the entry shows as "Verification Requested". Confirming employers can leave positive endorsements only — there is no negative review option. Employers must not confirm relationships that did not happen, and workers must not list employers they never worked for.
Requests that go unanswered expire automatically. Once a request is accepted, both sides can message directly. Do not use messaging for harassment, spam, or anything unlawful. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Worker locations on the map are shown as an approximate area, not an exact address, unless the worker chooses otherwise. Exact details are for the two sides to share once matched.
Browsing, profiles, requests, messaging and verification are free. Optional paid upgrades (priority placement, extra portfolio photos, profile-view insights) may be offered. Paid plans can be cancelled; employer plans can be paused at a reduced rate when a role is filled. Prices are shown before you subscribe.
We do not employ anyone and are not a party to any arrangement made through the app. Pay, hours, tax, insurance, licensing and right-to-work checks are the responsibility of the worker and the shop.
We do not guarantee that any profile, listing or verification is accurate, though we design the app to encourage accuracy and will act on reports.
You keep ownership of your photos and text. By uploading you give ChairScanner a licence to display them within the app to other users for the purpose of matching. We do not sell your content.
